The assessment of the cost of air transport and sea vessels has a number of features and requires taking into account the specifics of the purpose of the assessment and knowledge of various data, including the type of vessel, technical condition, information about repair work, make, model, series of the vessel, year of manufacture, service life and other information.

Basic documents for the start of the air and water transport assessment procedure:

Certificate of state registration of the right to an aircraft
Certificate of registration of the vessel. In case of their absence, the document on the basis of which such registration can be made (contract of sale, donation, lease agreement with the right of redemption or otherwise) - for sea/river vessels
Certificate of the book value of the valuation object - for sea/river vessels
